Artistic freedoms are legally protected in several countries. However, they are largely complied with in letter alone, and not in spirit – leading to illegal arrests and arbitrary detentions.
To highlight the dire state of artistic freedom across the world, Adobe replaces the Lorem Ipsum placeholder text with stories of illegally imprisoned artists. Launched as an update during Free Speech Week, Adobe guides its users to petition for the freedom of their creative counterparts on Amnesty International.
